More than 20 years ago, I started a carrer in psychology. Soon after I switched it for Fine Arts. The buildings of both faculties, back then, at the campus of the University of Barcelona, were in front of each other. I flourished in the fine arts building, whilst I found that there was something missing for me in the psychology one. Nevertheless, upon completion of my studies, I never felt comfortable selling my art and my fascination for human behaviour and my will to wanting to know about our selves and our processes, lead me to train as an art psychotherapist, a career that united my two passions together and that brought a new kind of meaning to my creativity, putting it at the service of my own, and other’s, emotional wellbeing.
I like to think of my practice as a cocoon, the space where caterpillars become butterflies.
